A big date in the craft diary this weekend as Kirstie Allsopp presents The Handmade Fair at Hampton Court Palace. The show runs from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st and is set to be a great experience for all that attend.
What seems to set The Handmade Fair apart is it’s focus on making on top of the usual stalls and exhibitions. Kirstie herself will lead presentations in the Super Theatre and throughout the show you can take part in ‘Grand Makes’ where groups of up to 250 will take part in projects such as Origami Floristry or Gift Wrapping.
In true Kirsty style probably the most popular of these will most likely be Pompom making, currently taking the internet by storm as #worldpomination.
Shopping at The Handmade Fair is offered by hand-picked exhibitors. Many friends of Craft Daily will be exhibiting and if you’re planning on going you can meet David & Charles authors Jo Colwill, Sarah Tremelling and Sof McVeigh on the Lady Sew and Sew stand (A17/A25 East Tent).
Exhibitors we’d thoroughly recommend you checked out would include:
Toft. Stand B152
We hope everyone that is going to the show has a fantastic day, if you can’t make it then you’re sure to be able to follow the show online on Facebook and Twitter.
